Well the next Disney trip is rapidly approaching and I for one can’t wait! I am more excited than the kids I think….NOT REALLY…..they are bouncing off the walls and when I try to bounce off the walls I make a dent in the wall and just stop with a thud…just saying. Anyway I am reading where some of the dads that never have been to Disney are just going to wait for the wife to get back before they try to go into the parks with the kids. WHY? There are four theme parks and lots to see. If your children are real small, just go to Toon Town and look around or ride Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, or Dumbo. Get fast passes of course so you do not have to wait an eternity at each ride. There are characters to meet and shows to see. There is so much to do while the wife is away. Then you can ride the bigger rides when she is with you. Please do not just sit in the game room at the resort. You will not enjoy your first trip to Disney and will not crave the next trip back…..This is like trip number 8 in 5 years and number 9 is already planned for the first week of April for spring break….it was already planned before the SM in February but we did just get back from a trip in October. Enjoy yourselves while you are there. You will start planning your next trip down as soon as you get home! It truly is Magical! It is like the real world can’t even get to you while you are there!

  1. I completely agree. Plus, a bunch of us dads should meet up and go to the parks together. Especially if some of us (like myself) have been to Disney before and some of us haven’t. The Disney Pro Dads can help the Disney Novice Dads find the fun rides and figure out what best to do with their kids.
