So, all that I wanted was to go and see the movie Lincoln for my birthday….FINALLY!!!!! Kas took me to see it tonight after my birthday dinner. It was the late showing and we had to drive to Nashville to see it….But, it was well worth it! I can see why this movie received all of the nominations that it did. Daniel Day-Lewis was brilliant! I have always had an image of how Lincoln was but Daniel Day-Lewis made me believe that he was actually the president. This is now how I will always think of Abraham Lincoln. What can I say about Tommy Lee Jones? He was his normal AMAZING self. Besides the two of them, James Spader has to be my next favorite. He added humor and it was great to see him back on the big screen. I would really recommend this movie and I will definately let my children watch it for the History as well as the political lessons that it can teach them. Hey, Check out the trailer and see for yourself.
