Let me start this out by saying…I’m not scared!!! So, we were at Myrtle Beach as you know and were doing some cool things around town. One night, we decided that it was time to experience Skywheel. Now, if you have never been on Skywheel before…it looks easy enough. It does not look that high at all until you are in the box headed for the top….Oh, I am not real scared of heights either….from the ground looking up! Gabriel sat by me and Kas and Bella sat across from us…we were all doing just fine until they had to load some of the other boxes up with people. That left us…you guessed it….stopped at the very top!! Let me just tell you….i was puckered…if you know what I mean…LOL….BE STILL KIDS!!!….SSSHHHH! HUSH UP!!!…..I SAID DON’T MOVE!!!! So when we finally started moving, I was brave wasn’t so bad right?! When we first got on they told us that if we needed to come down at anytime…just push the button. I thought that it was a joke until the lady in the car behind us abandoned ship.

Once you got going around though, it was an amazing ride and had some beautiful sights. I strongly recommend trying it. My family really loved it and we will do it again when we go back. I can’t wait!

“Situated as a centerpiece of the 1.2 mile-long Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade, the SkyWheel is surrounded by some tasty eats, great shopping and the pristine sands of the Atlantic. When youโ€™re done having your breath taken away by the view from your flight, browse the LandShark SurfShack and then grab a bite at the LandShark Bar & Grill.”

  5. Looks awesome – especially all lit up at night. I’m not a big fan of high rides, but I’d definitely try that given the chance.
