***Disclosure: I reviewed a Lexus ES 350 and was provided the car. All opinions are 100% mine. ***
Just the other day, I had the chance to drive one of my dream cars. My family and I went to Disney in the Lexus ES 350. What….A….Ride!!! This car was smooth and so comfortable. The kids had so much space in the back seat. They could even cross their legs back there. We usually hear arguments about space issues but not this time. My seat was so amazing. I wasn’t trying to move around so much to get comfortable on this trip. The last time that we went down to Disney, the ride seemed like it took forever. This time it was over before we knew it. Lexus really knows how to take care of their passengers that’s for sure. The seats themselves are 10 way Power seats including lumbar. It had so much as far as Luxury goes really too much to list but here are a few.
Smart Access with push button start and stop
Electrochromic Auto dimming rearview mirror
One touch open and close power tilt and slide moonroof
Lexus premium Audio system with in dash 8 disc CD player, Automatic sound levelizer and MP3 player connectivity with 8 speakers
Bluetooth Technology, USB audio plug, Sirus XM satellite radio for 90 trial period
I was amazed by some of the other features. I love the blind spot monitor,as I have spoken about before, as well as, the back up camera. The Hard Disk Drive navigation system is in a league of its own. This car even has Intuitive Parking Assist that I never had the chance to try by the way.Just so many things to talk about…so….Let’s get started.
Lets talk performance. The Lexus ES 350 has a 3.5 Liter 268HP Four Cam 24 Valve V6 Engine. you don’t feel like you are doing the speed that you are doing while driving so pay attention. I looked down at one point and was over 90 MPH so I had to back off a bit. It was just so effortless to get to that speed. The transmission is a 6 speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. If you are not sure how the sequential shift works, you should look it up. It is really interesting the difference between the transmission types and how they work. The main thing to know here is that it is smooth and shifts easy. The Lexus ES 350 comes on 17 inch Aluminum Alloy split 6 spoke wheels and 215/55R17 all season tires. It all fits together to form one great ride!
Being a father, when I look for a car, it has to be safe. I am carrying the most precious cargo by far…my family! This car comes equipped with major safety features. It has Dual airbags, Dual front Knee airbags, front and rear seat mounted side impact airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags, Supplemental Restrain System, 3 point safety belts for all seating positions, and front and rear outboard seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters. Pretensioners pull you firmly against the seat while the airbags deploy in the event of a head on collision. So they destroy themselves to save your life. Oh, and by the way, if you are counting, that is 10 airbags. So, I really feel safe driving my family around in this car for sure.
There is so much more that I could say about this car but I will save it and say that you need to try it for yourself. The bottom line for my family is that comfort was covered, luxury was definitely covered, and safety was absolutely covered. I have no doubt in my mind that we would be extremely happy owning a Lexus ES 350 and keeping it for a long time. Do yourself a favor and head out to your local dealer and just give one a spin….you’ll love it! I promise!
