Bruiser's Hideout

It hasn’t happened yet but I have a horrible feeling that it’s coming. My son got a fish tank for Christmas and it is pretty cool. The tank is only a three gallon tank and it is going to have the glow in the dark fish that are so popular right now, as I’ve been told. We have the tank set up already but I haven’t gone to pick up the fish yet. I have a bad feeling about what is about to take place in my house…..Think Back…..when I wrote about how our cat Bruiser like to knock things over to get attention.Yes, this is the cat that will look at you and put his paw in your glass to dump it all over the table for you. You should see this cat act like he runs things in the house. If you ignore him, he will go to a stack of dvd’s in front of the television and knock them down one by one and then look at you like….What? Mr. Personality!!

Now comes the big thrill. It will be like an amusement park in my sons room. I have told Gabe that he will have to keep his door closed all of the time unless he is in there and awake. We all know how that is going to play out. One night, we are going to hear a huge splash and it is either going to be the tank on the floor or the cat in the tank…..Oh my!…..I just wonder if it will take three days or three hours. Bruiser the abuser of glow in the dark fish. It’s like putting catnip in a sock and expecting him to leave it alone. Have you ever seen a cat on catnip or better yet a cat that smells it but can’t find it yet? It’s not going to be pretty for sure.

Oh well, to the fish store I go…better not keep Bruiser waiting!
