In today’s era, I don’t even have to get out of the bed. Dude, you up? Dude, wake up. DUDE!!!! GET UP NOW! I have my cellphone man!

BUUUDDDYY! PRIIINNNNCCEEESSS!! It’s time to get up and get ready for school. No, you can’t stay home today. Get out of bed and get ready!

Number 8

Cat Attack

IMG_3072

Put the cat in the bed and let the never ending kneading of dough begin. I can’t stand it when he does it…clawing…..purring…..scratching.Note: If cat gets in my bed, IT’S ON!!!

Number 7

Water

No, I’m not dumping water on my kids in their beds! That would be cruel and I would have to clean it up. Just water on my hands and a little face caress will do the trick. If you sneeze first, it really freaks them out.

Number 6

Earthquake

This one isn’t mine, It’s Pop’s, but it seems to do the trick on the bunk beds at my mother’s house. Kids start falling from everywhere. Calm down they aren’t really falling!!

Number 5

Sneak Attack

Sneak Attack

Again, not mine, this one belongs to our little stealth princess. She can scare the crap out of her mother…not me though…I’m not scared of anything.

Number 4

The Stand by the bed stomp

This is where you get out of the bed and stomp in the sounds of walking. Alright!! Here I come!! You better be up when I get there!!! If you listen, you can hear them fall out of bed and the rustling of clothes.

Number 3

The Stare Scare

Ease into their room, get right down by their face, and just stare at them. I don’t know what it is, but it works every time.

Number 2

Daddylanche

You guessed it, I flop down on the bed beside them and scare them to death. After the initial shock and panic wears off, we laugh.

Number 1

Snuggles and Tickles

When all is said and done, this is my favorite. I just go in and lay down beside them and hug them. They wake up so peacefully and it puts them in a great mood for the day….And once they are awake…I do the tickle torture….I love being a dad
