So, I just took the Orlando Vacation challenge at OrlandoVacation.com and I must say that I am impressed. My family and I go to Disney World on a regular basis. Sometimes we stay on site and sometimes we stay off site. It just depends on the time of year. When I accepted this challenge, I was told that I could use an expert over the phone. I have to tell you that it was so easy that I did not need to talk to anyone. I was on the site and put in my dates and found a resort similar to what we are use to in a matter of minutes. I did spend the next hour trying to figure out some other sites and got really frustrated and just gave up. So, Here I am a few days Later to finish what I started.

I went ahead and did another vacation plan tonight just to see if it was easy the second time and I have to say that it was. I was done in around nine minutes. I do kind of know what my family likes and what we are used to so it may take you just a few more minutes to shop for the resort or hotel that you like but as I said it is EASY. At this point I am going to take a look at some other sites and compare prices using the same criteria that my family looks for.

KAYAK

I started the search above on Kayak.com and ended up on Booking.com. It took me a lot longer to navigate this website and I did have a lot of frustration trying to find what I wanted. At first, all it would show me were hotels. I tried and tried to find a way to get tickets with the resort but could not find them. I did, however, find the resort that I booked on OrlandoVacation.com so that we could get a fair comparison. As you can see, the prices are quite different. Our family has been spoiled in the past so the resort home was the only way to go for us.

EXPEDIA

This time I went to Expedia.com. Once again, I couldn’t add tickets to my package for Disney. I will have to go on the Disney site and add them to the post in order to get an accurate total. The resort that I had for the first two searches could not be found on Expedia so I went for something as close to what I had as possible. It also took me a little longer to navigate. Maybe not as much as Kayak.com but definately more than OrlandoVacation.com.

FINAL RESULTS

  • 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Executive Pool Home for 8 nights
  • 6 Day Magic Your Way Base tickets to Disney World
  • $2343.40

Now Disney runs deals all the time on packages and tickets so I just did a base ticket for viewing to add to the last two websites and show the full price. As you can see, OrlandoVacation.com blew the prices out of the water for the other two sites. I am now a believer. I will look to OrlandoVacation.com in the future when we are planning our trips to Orlando. They don’t just do Disney but Disney is what my family does. I can highly recommend their site for your future Orlando Vacation needs.

  3. Wow! I love seeing the price comparisons! We don’t get to Orlando very often, and with my family of seven, we have to make every moment and every dollar count. Saving a “little” goes a long way with us!
