I will have to admit, when I first saw the trailer, I was not interested. I just thought that the movie looked kind of silly. I mean, there’s a talking raccoon! Not me…I’m out! Well, of course Kas was lucky enough to be invited out to California and interview the actors. She told me that she talked to Vin Diesel, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, and……HOLD ON!!! Who? Those guys are all in the movie? She said yes among others like Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper. Ok, I’m now interested!
Kas saw the movie in LA., the kids and Kas saw the movie at a screening in Nashville, and yesterday we all went to see it on the kids last day of freedom.(School started today) We went in and I was really getting excited. We actually arrived like 45 minutes early to the theater. It seemed like the longest 45 minutes of my life.
Finally, the movie started as did the excitement. It didn’t stop there, it went the entire movie. I really got into it. Chris Pratt brought a lot of humor to his character. He was on point and had everyone in the palm of his hand. A few minutes later, we were able to meet the hilarious Rocket, voiced by Bradley Cooper. We also met his partner Groot, played by Vin Disel. Zoe Saldana was gorgeous green this time as Gamora. She can wear any color and wear it well.
Later on we meet the ferocious Drax! Drax is A big and bad Destroyer. He ain’t happy at first, but later on we find out that he is one of the good ones. These guys have great chemistry and light up the screen together amazingly. I loved this movie and will go back again. Come on, we’ll go together. You’re paying though.
