Alright, so I know it took a while for me to see the movie. Hey, I was working a lot of hours. Give me a break already. That being said, while the wife was in Mexico and my daughter was at her grandmother’s house, my son and I snuck out for a guys night out. We headed over to the theater and popped in to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
This is the first film in the Star Wars world that is a stand alone. This is the story of the team that assembled to steal the Death Star plans. I had forgotten what little that I knew of the story but let me tell you, this movie did not disappoint. It was action packed from beginning to end. My son and I were at the edge of our seats for the whole movie. I would definitely watch it again and will.
If you haven’t had the chance, get out and see it before it goes away!
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
